چکیده
The global ecosystem has been significantly disrupted on various spatiotemporal scales over the last three decades due to human activities. Geospatial technology can quickly, effectively, and quantitatively evaluate change of eco-environmental quality (EEQ). present study is focused novel approach Remote Sensing based Ecological Index (RSEI), using Landsat Imagery data assess environmental conditions changes pattern. Four ecological indicators were prepared in year 1990, 2000, 2010 2020 Kolkata urban agglomeration (KUA) condition. principal component analysis (PCA) spatial autocorrelation relate all with each other’s RSEI. Out indicated, greenness wetness have a positive effect EEQ province, but both dryness heat negative effect. However, it should be noted that greater impact eco-environment than other indicators. Based RSEI values, we categorized standards area into four groups—very good (0.81?1.00), (0.61?0.80), acceptable (0.41?0.60), poor (0.21?0.40), very (0.00?0.20), where high values ??indicate stable healthy for living organisms low relatively unstable threatening environment. status showed 9.02%, 12.29%, 12.79% 37.23% an was under condition respectively. Good increased from 19.12% 34.074% during 1990 2010, declined value 9.47% expansion. Here, Moran's I fund 0.265, 0.543, 0.396 0.367 result Moran’s indicate clustering nature. helpful decision making management guided by planners policy makers.

The present study is aimed at characterizing the landfill leachate as well as its impact on the surrounding groundwater in Kolkata, India. Landfill leachate has been seasonally characterized from 2012-2014, indicating the landfill site in methanogenic phase with high contamination of organics, nutrients, salts, and heavy metals. Sixty groundwater samples have been analyzed for twenty two physic...

10 We examine risk preferences in an urban setting in a low-income developing country with nonstudent subjects by adapting the experimental approach of Holt and Laury (2002) (HL). We conducted 22 group experiments with 404 participants and used in-kind payoffs. The average respondent was ‘riskaverse’ (the midpoint of Constant Relative Risk Aversion (CRRA) intervals 15 among participants was 0.5...
